Middleweight Sean Strickland is set to clash with Jack Hermansson for a UFC Fight Night event. The bout is a five-round main event happening on February 5 next year. Currently, Strickland is ranked #7 in the UFC middleweight rankings, whereas Hermansson is 6th.

Originally. Strickland was going to fight Luke Rockhold in November, but the bout got canceled because of Luke’s back injury. Besides enjoying a 5 win streak, Strickland is also enjoying his time on Twitter interacting with his fans.

Recently, The 30-year-old jokingly tweeted, “Some of my best friends I trust them with my life, I know they would die in battle with me…. but I don’t trust them with their D***S not to bang my girl when I’m gone.. but I also think that’s what makes them my friends lol! I like morally fluid people lol…”

A fan of Strickland continued the joke by asking, “Real question is Sean, would you shag their girl when they are gone”

To which the middleweight replied with, “Depends the situation.. If I walk in and she’s naked on my bed….possibly.. but I tend to put up pretty big walls with my buddies girls… lol!!!”

Who has the upper hand in Sean Strickland vs Jack Hermansson?

Sean is quickly rising to the top in the Middleweight division. He is also a former King of the Cage Middleweight Champion. Since his debut in UFC back in 2014, Sean has an 11-3 record. Besides this, he boasts a 24-3 record in his entire pro-MMA career.

On the contrary, his opponent Jack Hermansson is coming off a victory after previously facing defeat at the hands of Marvin Vettori. ‘The Joker’ is also the former champion in Cage Warriors and Warrior Fight Series. With a pro-MMA record of 22 wins to 6 losses, he has equal fighting experience as Sean.

As to answer the question, both fighters seem to be in good shape. But Sean’s five-win streak might give him a slight confidence advantage. Although nothing can be said about the fight, it can go either way.
