Surging welterweight contender Belal Muhammad has come up with an interesting offer for ‘Gamebred’. Notably, as UFC confirms the Colby Covington vs. Jorge Masvidal grudge match.

Reportedly, the Masvidal vs. Covington fight is all set to headline the UFC 272 fight card on 5th March. Subsequently, the title unifier between bantamweight champions, Petr Yan and Aljamain Sterling, is pushed back to UFC 273.

However, former roommates turned arch-rivals, Jorge Masvidal and Colby Covington fight is the matchup that has quickly become the most trending in the MMA fraternity. And to take some cream out of the pie, we have welterweight #5 Belal Muhammad offering to train Masvidal in his quest to defeat Colby Covington.

Recently, ‘Bully B’ Tweeted, “Hit me up if you want me to come out and help you train masvidal because even I don’t wanna hear the trash talk that’ll come from colby if he wins”

Currently, Muhammad is coming off a dominant victory over Stephen Thompson. Whom he defeated via unanimous decision in the co-headliner of UFC Fight Night 199.

Notably, ‘Remember The Name’ has a dislike towards ‘Chaos’ of trash talking. Muhammad has repeatedly mentioned that he doesn’t harbor any animosity towards Covington. However, he won’t lose a chance to hit the #1 contender in the face.

After his stunning victory over ‘Wonderboy’ at the last UFC event of 2021, Muhammad went on a callout spree. Since then, he has called out the welterweight champion Kamaru Usman. However, he has revealed that the next best would be Colby Covington, whom he wants to hit in the face.

“The fight I would want to punch is that like I always want to hit Colby in the face. I’ve been calling for that fight for like ten years now. Like even before he was a higher up there, before he was in the ranking, before he was all this.”
