Chris Weidman was a beast in the octagon. The fighter’s dominance was on full display, as he took on a slew of opponents. However, everything fell apart when he fought Uriah Hall. The former middleweight champion suffered a horrible injury and since then he has had to bide his time to make a proper comeback.

The fighter has undergone multiple surgeries because of his injury and needed a lifestyle change to ensure prolonging his MMA career. Moreover, it seems like Weidman has embraced Dana White’s diet as well.

The former middleweight champion recently completed the 86-hour-fast routine. Weidman’s results impressed Dana White as he praised the American’s tenacity by claiming that it would not only change his lifestyle but make him a better man. The fighter uploaded an image of his transformation on his Instagram handle and we can witness the change. He wrote, “Even though the goal wasn’t to lose weight, I dropped 9 pounds and I feel great”

In his latest X(Formerly Twitter) post, Weidman emphasized that he has lost a massive 9 pounds in the process and the results highly impressed him as he was not expecting it to be that drastic.

The former middleweight champion is not the only one who accepted and completed the challenge. Celebrities have also tried this weight loss regimen, including Hollywood actor Frank Grillo.

‘Crossbones’ embraced White’s water-fast diet

Frank Grill͏o took on the role of the formidable villain role ͏known as Crossbones to cement his entry into mainstream fame. The actor also garnered significant fame for his impressive physique. Recently, he took to his Instagram stories to ͏showcase his physique and announce a mini-fast͏ that he’ll be embarking on, courtesy of White.

The actor took to his Instagram handle to add a story. He writes “Doing a mini water gast(fast) 48 hours to see if I can go a full 7 days. My dude @danawhite set it off…” It must be noted that many celebrities, including notable Hollywood figures have accepted White’s routine of fasting.

As per Dana White, the 86-hour water fasting is the proper way for detoxification. He emphasized it can help to significantly reduce the risks of cancer, Alzheimer’s, and a ton of other health issues. Nonetheless, it has not been proven scientifically and it’s Dana White’s own opinion. Nevertheless, it has helped notable stars in achieving their goals.
