‘I Feel Nothing for You Bums’- Conor McGregor Fires Back at His Critics After the Loss to Dustin Poirier

Conor McGregor hit back at his critics in his recent Instagram post. ‘The Notorious’ and Dustin Poirier faced each other in a five-round scrap at UFC 264.

However, the bout ended in the first round with McGregor suffering a gruesome leg injury. It was the most anticipated fight of the year. All eyes were on this match as it was a decider after both the men settled the score at 1-1, and people were excited to watch the end.

Unfortunately, the Irishman suffered a devastating loss after the doctor’s stoppage in the first round. Many took to social media to troll ‘The Notorious’ for the same.

However, the haters could not break the UFC superstar, and he still believes he is the best in the promotion. Recently, McGregor took to Instagram and talked about the same.

He posted,I wipe my rich a** with your feelings about my work. I feel nothing for you bums. Nada!”

 

‘The Notorious’ clearly believes that Poirier didn’t deserve the victory, and he called for a rematch. However, this will not happen soon. The Irishman will have to stay out of the octagon for a year or more until he fully recovers and starts his training.

‘The Notorious’ stopped the American fighter in their first clash at UFC 178. However, the tables turned when they both clashed inside the octagon for a rematch. ‘The Diamond’ knocked out McGregor in the second round of the fight at UFC 257.

The Irishman faced the same fate in the trilogy fight, but it was worse this time. He suffered a gruesome leg injury and was rushed to the hospital right after the fight.

The latter underwent a three-hour-long surgery. However, the surgery was successful, and ‘The Notorious’ released a video on his Instagram account to update his fans about his ongoing recovery.

He said, “Had a couple of ups and downs last couple of days. Had a great birthday yesterday appreciate all the birthday messages all you guys say in me thank you so much for that. You know I come out of the surgery. I was feeling very euphoric. The job was done it was a great job that was done.”

The (22-6) record holder will have to stay out of the octagon for a long time now. However, he is hoping for a speedy recovery and will look to avenge his loss against Poirier as soon as possible.
