Ever since they made this fight, people worldwide have been sharing their views on the same. Recently during an interview ‘Notorious’ was also talking about the upcoming fight. He said, “Yeah, all the marbles are on the line. I’m here training very hard. I’m about to go for my second session of the day.”

“I’m in great condition already. We’re seven weeks out, I feel very confident. You know a couple of things when I beat him in the original bout; I lost in the rematch and then we’ve got the trilogy. I’ve got a few little adjustments to make and I feel very confident, I’m very focused and driven and I’ll go in there and put on a hell of a performance and get it back for July 10th.”

McGregor seems very confident and ready for the upcoming fight. The former champion seems to be in the best shape of his career and is training very hard for the fight. Even in his last fight against Poirier, McGregor seemed quite good and just needed some minor changes. That is something ‘Notorious’ claims to have worked on this time and would love to implement that during the fight.

The first fight between Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier took place back in 2014. The two fighters faced each other at the UFC 178 event. ‘Notorious’ had won that fight via a 1st round TKO. Ever since that fight, the fans had been demanding a rematch between the two fighters.

Their wish finally came true in 2021, when the fighters competed at the UFC 257 event. This time though the result was different as Poirier won the fight via a 2nd round TKO. That result perfectly set up a trilogy fight between the fighters, which will happen at the UFC 264 event.
