Besides being a fitness enthusiast and a martial artist, Rogan is also a stand-up comedian. Therefore, he is dead set against the rampant censoring and cancel culture prevalent in Hollywood.

In episode #1913 of JRE, Rogan hosted comedian Brian Redban. During their conversation, the pair discussed how the language and subjects of comedy differed now from how they used to be. While discussing this, Rogan mentioned accidentally trying to watch an age-inappropriate movie with his kids.

Rogan and Redband were discussing how some controversial terms that were in use hurt people’s feelings. “I tried to watch Superbad the other day. It wasn’t the other day. It was a while ago. But I was trying to watch it with my kids. And I realized like five minutes in like there’s no f***ing way 12-year-olds should be watching this. I’m like ‘stop.’ I paused. I’m like ‘okay, we can’t watch this.”

In his own defense, the BJJ black belt said, “I forgot how f***ing dirty it was. I just remember it being really funny.”

Although Rogan stopped his kids from watching the movie, he once stated that his kids were free to talk about any topic they wanted.

Rogan lets his kids talk about all kinds of stuff

In episode #1907 of JRE, Rogan hosted Ari Schaffir, Shane Grills, and Mark Normand. At one point, their conversation centered around children and parenthood. Incidentally, Rogan explained his approach to parenting.

The former Fear Factor host said, “I let my kids talk all kinds of crazy sh*t. I think it’s fun. At the end, they crack on you and they get you. It’s funny. But it’s also, it’s like teaching them how to like banter with people. So, people don’t make them feel bad.”

The millionaire podcast host, however, admitted he found parenting “most bizarre,” as you were making little human beings.
