While having a conversation with stand-up comic and host of “The Solid Show” podcast, Deric Poston, Rogan explained that he was worried about his health when he saw his picture from UFC 300. He emphasized that he still considers himself to be fat despite being fit. “I get fat. I’m pretty lean right now. I’m under 200, which is rare. Wow, I’m like 197, which is nice. But I’ve just been real clean on the diet the last few weeks,” said Joe Rogan.

He further added, “Last few weeks, I just, I started getting a little fat. I start feeling a little bit of this, and I start paranoid. My gut starts sticking out. I would get it straight to the gut ’cause I have pretty thick abs too, yeah? So, any fat that goes on top of this right here, bar, yeah, it gets gross and it pokes out right here, yeah, and just starts looking gross.”

Rogan, however, never explained what ͏caused his protracted belly. Further down in the conversation, the podcaster added that his gluttony͏ ͏might act as the catalyst for his weight gain. “I eat so much food, bro. I eat so much food! It’s crazy how much I eat. I’m a glutton, like a real glutton.” Nonetheless, it must also be noted that a high dosage of HGH is harmful for human physique.

Rogan takes Testosterone Replacement Therapy

In addition to HGH, Joe Rogan employs another procedure that keeps his energy high and that is TRT or Testosterone Replacement Therapy. To summarise the procedure, it is a treatment for men with low testosterone levels. It involves supplementing testosterone through methods like injections or patches to alleviate symptoms such as fatigue and low libido. The 56-year-old podcaster states that this technique has helped him to do things which were physically impossible to do for him at his age.

Rogan has been using this therapy since his forties. While having a conversation on ‘JRE’, the Austin resident explained the importance of the use of TRT.“Regardless of a well-balanced diet and solid exercise regimen, your body changes as you age, and your hormone and testosterone levels naturally decline approximately one percent per year (1). “[TRT] makes a big difference. It’s real simple. If you’re fine with not feeling good—good! If you’re not fine with it, hormone replacement therapy exists for a reason, and that reason is it makes you feel way better.”

Well, taking TRT has its pros and cons. However, one might note that Rogan changed his lifestyle drastically to take these therapies and supplements. Nonetheless, what’s your take on Joe Rogan’s supplements usage? State your thoughts in the comments below.
