Jorge Masvidal takes on Gilbert Burns in his hometown and fans can’t wait to see the two welterweights in action. After a disappointing loss against Colby Covington at UFC 272, Masvidal will be looking to get back to winning ways and mount a title charge with a win against the Brazilian welterweight. This will not be an easy task as the odds are stacked against ‘Gamebred’. However, Masvidal is not short on support and one of his biggest supporters is Canadian singer Drake.

Drake is a huge fan of the sport and can be seen placing bets on fighters before the event. Masvidal acknowledged Drake’s support in the latest interview ahead of UFC 287.

Masvidal replied, “I heard he bet his soul”. While clearing the air that it was only a joke, ‘Gamebred’ added, “I’m joking man. I don’t know. I have no idea. Drake does put massive bets man and I love it when he shows that support and that he would even like broadcast it. Like ‘Hey, man! My money is on so and so’ because there’s nothing more real than putting money where your mouth is right?”
