UFC middleweight contender, Darren Till, spoke to ESPN’s Ariel Helwani ahead of his April 10 booking against Marvin Vettori. Chiefly, ‘The Gorilla’ responded to certain comments made by Vettori and clapped back in a way only he could. Looking at the back and forth, it seems like there’s some beef simmering that’s fallen under the radar.

The aforementioned match-up is consequential for the title picture and comes in as virtually a title eliminator. Israel Adesanya came out and said he’s hoping Till continues to win so he can get the next shot. ‘The Italian Dream’ Vettori will be looking to play spoilt sport to that arrangement going forward in the bout.

Darren Till goes in on Marvin Vettori

The Englishman has consistently been a social media troll throughout his downtime away from the sport and has captured attention. He referenced certain fighting words put forth by Marvin Vettori and made sure to jump right into trolling.

“He said a story something like I’m going to make you beg for forgiveness or some sh*t like that and you need to train 10 years. I’m like ‘Mate, listen just shut the fu*k up.’ Listen, we’re going to fight…all this sh*t you’re saying doesn’t mean nothing man, like loosen up, chill.”

“I know you train hard, I know you’re tough, I know you’re ugly, I know all these things. Just relax, we’re going to fight on April 10 and you can beat me as much as you want then.”

‘The Italian Dream’- Coming in hot

Marvin Vettori, who has shown himself to be a fiery personality during media day appearances, will need to be wary of Till’s trolling. The Englishman is capable of getting under his opponent’s skin and rattling their confidence before a fight. However, ‘The Italian Dream’ is a seasoned campaigner and will believe in his skill set to execute a definitive victory to follow up his win over ‘The Joker’ Jack Hermansson.
