The 34-year-old said, “That’s a good look. My girlfriend has been a different stock. She helped me throughout this career. If it wasn’t for her, I probably wouldn’t be where I am today.”

“So, definitely, I look to spoil her. She does not work anymore. I essentially hired her. Like, hired her to the business, but she works for me now,” said the Crumlin-born.

Dee Devlin has been an integral part of the UFC’s biggest star’s entire life and not merely the success. The 35-year-old supported the Irish star financially during his early days. Thus, McGregor wanted to repay a lifelong debt to his partner.

As ‘The Notorious’ talked about hiring his girlfriend, the reporter asked about Devlin’s role in his business.

McGregor facetiously said, “I mean, she collects the checks, that’s what she does.”

However, later the self-proclaimed Face of the Fight Game gave a more serious response. McGregor said, “That to me was a special thing to be able to do. My girlfriend worked very very hard, throughout the years, coming up. And stuck by me when essentially I had absolutely nothing.”

‘The Notorious’ continued, “I only had a dream that I was telling her. And so for me to be able to take her walking and give her everything she ever wanted and take her to see, travel not to travel the world with her and that fills me with pride. So, it keeps me going.”

Currently, the couple has three kids together. And they actively post about each other on their social media handles and make social appearances together.
