Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones took to social media and clapped back at a claim made by Dana White. Chiefly, Jones and White have been at opposite ends of the spectrum regarding Jones’ heavyweight debut. ‘Bones’ is primed to face Francis Ngannou, the newly minted heavyweight champion of the world.
However, the fight is ways away from ever being booked as both parties are unable to reach a contractual agreement. Chiefly, this isn’t the first time Jones has gone to war with the UFC brass over issues related to money. This is the reason he hasn’t fought since UFC 247 that took place all the way back in February 2020.

Fans have begun taking sides and there’s plenty of chatter online with regards to White’s comments on Jones’ asking price. Throughout the saga between White and Jones, several figures have been quoted ranging from $10 million to $50 million. With Jones disputing White’s recent claims, fans wonder where exactly he falls in the bracket.
Jon Jones has made his move up to heavyweight in a rather comprehensive fashion and fully committed to it. Even if the fight falls through, for now, fans expect that Jones and the UFC will eventually come to an agreement. Jones has put on some serious muscle and a move back down to light heavyweight seems unlikely.
