Social media has become extremely powerful in today’s day and age. Almost everyone on the planet has access to it and the various types of content available on it. Some good, some bad, and some downright nasty. Also troubling is the ease with which everyone can obtain it all. This is something Joe Rogan talked about in his most recent episode of the JRE with guest, Mike Baker. The conversation started with Baker talking about getting iPhones for his kids, but being concerned about all the wildly horrendous things available online. This made the UFC commentator talk about his own Instagram account where he witnesses the possibly most gruesome things imaginable.

Joe Rogan stated, “I think most people aren’t even aware of the fact that the Chinese government completely controls all business. You really can’t have a major corporation without some sort of interaction with the Chinese government.” This certainly seems to be a valid remark, especially in light of the fact that so many large firms rely on China for their operations.
