Since then, people from all over the world have been sharing their views on the fight. Many people took to social media to congratulate Font on an incredible victory, while some took shots at Garbrandt for his loss. Among the many people sharing their views was former UFC bantamweight champion, Petr Yan.

‘No Mercy’ took to Twitter to share his views of ‘No Love’ and what he thinks of the fighter’s abilities. Yan wrote, “I don’t know what else did you expected? Being calm not gonna compensate all of Cody’s technical flaws. I wish him to bounce back though, because I still want to kick his a** in the future.”

Although Yan and Garbrandt have not competed in the UFC, the pair have always had a rivalry. Both the fighters never seem to lose any opportunity to take digs at each other. Therefore, it came as no surprise that ‘No Mercy’ was quick to react to Garbrandt’s defeat.

Yan did not stop there, as he also targeted Rob Font. He wrote, “And don’t worry Rob, one day I will fu*k you up too. I have another business to handle now.”

Yan will possibly look to get his rematch for the UFC bantamweight title next, as he had lost the UFC bantamweight title to Aljamain Sterling at UFC 259 on March 6, 2021.

Therefore, it seems unlikely that the two fighters will face each other anytime soon. However, if they do, it would be a treat to watch for everyone.
