“So I don’t know if that’s on his horizon, but, yes, I mean, I think we see him against Michael Chandler in December, as long as he doesn’t break his leg. I think we see him in March 2024 as well.”
“I feel like he’s chasing further greatness. I know he has more money than he ever expected but how much is he going to enjoy retirement if he doesn’t get a few more scalps in MMA?” – @Jon_Anik on @TheNotoriousMMA 💯

Apart from this, Jon Anik believes Conor McGregor will soon be an active part of the UFC’s roaster rather than be limited to occasional super fights. If the former ESPN anchor is to be believed, Conor McGregor is chasing ‘further greatness’. Which, in his opinion, the Irishman can only find inside the octagon and not the boxing ring. Ever since his loss to Dustin Poirier, Conor McGregor has been out of action due to a gruesome leg injury. But within this time frame, he hasn’t just recovered but also gained some serious mass.
Last year, the fighter surprised the MMA community with his new transformation. But despite the recovery, his return still seems uncertain. Fans got some hope after Conor McGregor was announced as a coach alonside Michael Chandler on the latest season of TUF. With rare exception of a few seasons, TUF coaches lock horns following the show’s finale. But so far, nothing has been official about McGregor’s potential fight with ‘Iron’. Even Dana White’s words on the matter have been cryptic as best. Not to forget the fighter’s recent fiasco with USADA on his absence from the testing pool.
