Khamzat Chimaev has made a name for himself with his over-the-top performances inside the octagon. At present, the Swedish fighter boasts of a 10-0 professional MMA career and is one of the most sought fighters in the UFC.
Keeping his accomplishments to the side, one thing t that separates him from the crowd is his wild persona. Ever since ‘Borz’ entered the UFC, the fighter hasn’t stopped his call-out spree of the biggest names in the roster. One of the most recent being ‘Chaos’ Colby Covington.

In the first video of his brand new YouTube channel, ‘Borz’ called out Covington in a menacing way. The ranked welterweight claimed that he will finish Covington even worse than ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ Kamaru Usman did.
“Who they have more in ten, top ten? Gilbert? Colby? Colby is like only talking,” Chimaev said in a vlog. “I wanna fight with this guy. I wanna show and I wanna finish him faster than Usman did. You know, Usman finished him which round? If he finish him second round, I wanna finish him first minute. And then people will understand my level.”
The former interim welterweight champion, Covington (16-3), has locked horns with Usman twice and has lost each time. However, he remains the #1 contender in the 170-pounds division.
Gilbert Burns can’t wait to face Khamzat Chimaev
The #2 welterweight Gilbert Burns is more than excited for an opportunity to fight Khamzat Chimaev. Both the welterweights have shown their eagerness to fight each other multiple times in a span of a few weeks.
The first one being a personal message from ‘Durinho’ to ‘Borz’ on his Instagram. Which the Swede gladly accepted as a win over a highly ranked opponent would open the gates to a title fight. Something that the ‘Lone Wolf’ has craved ever since he joined the premier promotion.
