Rodriguez, who plays “Letty” in the film, asked Rousey not to hold back in one of their brawl scenes. This is all because she wanted the scene to look authentic and genuine. In an interview with Access, she said, “Hell yeah! I’m not about that girly-girl stuff. Like, I want it to be real. I want it to feel genuine.”
When asked if she was scared to brawl one on one with Rousey, she said, “Hell no [I wasn’t scared]! I want her to whoop my a**, if anything I’m begging for it!”
Michelle also mentioned sustaining injuries while filming with Rousey.
She said, “By the end of it I had two golf ball-sized knots on my head. She kept slamming me against the wall and I forgot to put my hand up, because you forget you’re doing stunts. I was like, ‘Oops, I forgot! There goes one golf ball! Do you think we can get it in two takes?'”

Rodriguez also mentioned how she would readily take a beating from Rousey again, as long as it looked “real” because she “loved it.” She also hopes that more women can come forward to play strong female characters in movies and provide justice to the roles.
The UFC Career of Ronda Rousey
Rousey enjoyed plenty of success in her UFC career. She was crowned the women’s bantamweight champion in 2012 and defended the title six times, getting big wins over top contenders – Cat Zingano, Miesha Tate, and Alexis Davis.
