Joe Rogan too wants to see him clash with ‘The Gypsy King’. In a recent episode of ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’, he said, “I want to see him box. I mean, I don’t want to see him box because I don’t love seeing him fight MMA.”

The UFC analyst also mentioned that both Ngannou and Fury are extremely marketable. Therefore, a boxing match between the two would be a blockbuster event.

Ngannou has been open about the monetary issues he has been facing with the UFC. The fighter has openly claimed that he won’t fight for the same amount of money after his contract ends. As a result, many have come forth to criticize the promotion. While there is still uncertainty of how Ngannou’s future combat career will pan out, his contract with the UFC remains till the end of this year.

In the same episode, Rogan spoke about Ngannou and Ciryl Gane’s UFC 270 bout. The Cameroonian’s wrestling took everyone by surprise and, according to Rogan, the champion incorporated ‘wrestling’ and ‘Jiu-Jitsu’ to defeat Gane.

“That was his best option to win that fight, given he was injured.”

The decision came as a surprise and showed the world that Ngannou had added a new dimension to his game and enhanced his skillset as a fighter.
