UFC lightweight contender Arman Tsarukyan has called out Michael Chandler on Twitter. He believes that it is time for ‘Iron’ Chandler to prove his stance as one of the top five contenders in the lightweight division. Tsarukyan believes that Chandler has the lowest IQ in the whole division.

Arman Tsarukyan has an overall MMA record of 19 wins and 3 losses (6 wins and 2 losses in the UFC). He won his last fight via unanimous decision against Damir Ismagulov at UFC Fight Night: Cannonier vs. Strickland. ‘Ahalkalakets’ currently ranks 8th in the UFC’s official lightweight rankings. He has also won four of his last five fights and seems to be on a roll.

On the other hand, Michael Chandler’s MMA record stands at 23 wins and 8 losses. He has shown lackluster performances in his recent fights after winning just 2 out of his last 5 fights in the promotion. The former Bellator champion now received a callout for up-and-coming UFC star Arman Tsarukyan.

Arman Tsarukyan believes Michael Chandler has a low IQ

Tsarukyan claims that Michael Chandler has the lowest IQ in the entire lightweight roster. He took to social media and proposed to fight the one-time UFC title challenger. Tsarukyan wrote: Hey Michael Chandler it’s time to defend your rankings! Lowest fight IQ in the division against new mma generation. I won’t see you at the top.”

‘Ahalkalakets’ has risen up the rankings after winning most of his fights in UFC till now. He claims that Michael Chandler has to prove his position in the division. The Russian fighter wants to take the next step in his MMA career with a fight against a more experienced fighter, that being Michael ‘Iron’ Chandler. ‘Ahalkalakets’ has already proved his mettle against the current UFC lightweight champion, Islam Makhachev, and given him one of the toughest fight of his UFC career so far.

However, Michael Chandler has been asking to fight Conor McGregor for a while now. He wants to fight the ‘Notorious’ one in the summer of 2023. But it does not seem like his wish will come to fruition since Conor McGregor announced that he will be appearing in the next season of ‘The Ultimate Fighter’ as a coach opposite UFC veteran Tony Ferguson. We will have to wait and see what lies ahead for both Chandler and Tsarukyan.
