He was on the preliminary card at UFC 268 and took on Gian Villante in a heavyweight clash. ‘Beastboy’ impressed everyone from the moment he was walking out for the fight. He danced his way to the octagon, knocked his opponent out with a spinning wheel kick, landed a front flip after the fight, and danced on his way out.

Barnett got the fans talking, and they want to see him in the octagon once again. He got his first win in the UFC at UFC 268 and is ready to fight again. One of the up-and-coming heavyweights in the UFC, Carlos Felipe, called him out, and both want to fight.

‘Boi Felipe’ tweeted saying, “You did very well in your last fight with KO and bonus, but what you think about a fight between us, lets gonna give the fans pure fun and violence. Feb looks good date to me. My manager already talk with UFC about it, talk with your and lets gonna make it happens!”

‘Beastboy’ responded to the callout and would love to fight Felipe. He said, “I’m ready to go. I actually got called out by, he just fought Andrei Arlovski… Carlos Felipe, he called me out in a respectful way. He is a top name, he’s ranked up there higher than me. I would love that fight.”

Since then, Felipe has asked the UFC to make this matchup official, as both men are ready to fight.

After his previous fight, and the overall demeanor he had before, during, and after the fight, he won over the fans. Barnett is keen to maintain a swift strength of schedule in order to capitalize on the momentum of his recent win.

After the two of them basically accepted to fight each other, Felipe took to Twitter and asked for the fight to take place. He wrote, Hey boss, @Mickmaynard2, my boy Chris Barnett already love this match up too. If you like it too, lets make this happen!”
