The bout will probably be a title eliminator. Former champion ‘Blessed‘ is looking to get another shot at the title after his controversial decision loss to champion Alexander Volkanovski at UFC 251.

Also, Conor McGregor will return the weekend after, as the former 2-division champion takes on Dustin Poirier in a rematch. Holloway has fought both men inside the Octagon. He expressed his interest in a rematch with Conor McGregor down the line.

People consider him one of the best in the sport today, I can’t wait, As a competitor, I would love to (get a rematch). That’s one of the fights that intrigues me,” said the former featherweight champion.

Like you said, we fought a long time ago, and he knows that, too. But like I said, first thing’s first – we got Kattar and then we figure it out after this,” he added.

Holloway and McGregor a long time ago. It was 2013 and Holloway was 21 years old. Both fighters have come a long way since. A rematch will be a great spectacle to see how far each has progressed. Both have realized multiple world championships between them. So, these are two high-level fighters in consideration.

But Kattar is not an opponent to overlook. He is one of the most prolific boxers in the UFC. His lightening fast hand speed combined with pin-point accuracy makes him unique. Holloway is an elite striker in his own right, too. So, we are in for a banger, without a doubt.
