One of the most anticipated fights of the year is Kamaru Usman vs. Colby Covington 2. Both men will enter the octagon at UFC 268 on November 6, 2021. The bitter rivals have no love for each other, but have respect for each other’s abilities. Usman and Covington first met at UFC 245 in what was an epic fight. It was a constant back-and-forth battle and Usman eventually came out on top in the fifth round. He dropped Covington twice and won via TKO.
In the lead-up to the next fight, Usman, in a recent interview, was asked about what he expects from Covington. He said, “I expect the best Colby there ever is, and I try to do that each and every fight. I expect the most dangerous and most violent fights, so nothing surprises me when I get in there. So, I expect him to do the same. If he’s done his homework, then it’s going to be a fun fight for everyone. If he hasn’t, I’ll put him away early, I guarantee you.”

When asked if Colby will look to wrestle, he said, “I’m just going to be honest, he’s a jacka**. At the end of the day, a jacka** is always going to do what they want to do. Yes, of course, you got a new team, you got a new gym, and you want to do what the coaches are telling you. But you’re a jack** first, so when you realize that things aren’t going your way or the moment they stop going your way, you’re going to resort back to exactly what you want to do. If he’s smart, he’s going to try to wrestle, but then he’s going to learn very quickly that I’m a better wrestler.”
