There are many reasons due to which the 4th fight between Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier seems unlikely to happen. The biggest reason being that the 4th fight does not serve a purpose as if ‘Notorious’ wins it will tie them at 2-2.

Apart from that, the fact that ‘The Diamond’ is the N0.1 contender for the UFC title also diminishes the possibility of the 4th fight. However, the sole reason many people believe this fight should happen is because of its popularity. Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier are both enormous stars and therefore a fight between them is bound to get a lot of traction and fans would love to watch them go at each other one more time.
