“If It’s a Woman, It’s Body Empowerment” – After Getting Fat-Shamed ‘Terribly’, UFC London Star Paddy Pimblett Opened Up on His Situation

When not training for a bout, the British UFC sensation Paddy Pimblett indulges in heavy junk food. It is believed that the 27-year-old has put on more than 200 pounds once.
Therefore, ‘The Baddy’ is frequently criticized by many for putting on a lot of weight following his fights. But the UFC lightweight fighter appears undeterred by the criticism, though, and carries on as usual.

However, recently, in one of his media appearances, Pimblett voiced his opinion about the backlash. The Brit also revealed that he gets fat-shammed terribly. But according to him, the norms are different for the opposite gender.
“I get fat-shammed terribly. If it’s a woman, it’s body empowerment. She is making herself feet great, know what I mean. But if it’s me lad, I am a big fat b**tard,” Pimblett said.

Despite his eating habits, the 27-year-old never misses weight before his fights. He even has had an amazing undefeated run in the promotion ever since his debut.
Paddy Pimblett has a message for fat-shammers
‘The Baddy’ is mostly unconcerned about his diet and consumes heavy junk food. However, he still successfully manages to cut down before his fights. Recently, he did the same before his second UFC Fight Night event in London and had a message for his naysayers.

Pimblett successfully made weight before his lightweight showdown against Jordan Leavitt inside the 02 Arena last weekend. Right after making 156lbs on the scale, ‘The Baddy’ said, “For everyone that tried to fat shame me and said I’d miss weight or f***ing pull out, kiss my a**,” and pulled down his pants.

Later, the 27-year-old also won his fight by submitting Leavitt via a Rare Naked Choke in the second round. He won a ‘Performance of the Night’ bonus for his victory.
This was Pimblett’s third straight win in the promotion. However, the Brit is already a star and a fan favorite, given his charismatic personality. But he is yet to enter the top 15 of the division.
