One cannot deny the fact that Joanna Jedrzejczyk is one of the best strawweight fighters at UFC. In 2015, Jedrzejczyk won the strawweight title after serving Carla Esparza a TKO in the second round.
Lately, the Polish fighter’s UFC career seems to be in some jeopardy. Many UFC fans immediately noticed that Joanna Jedrzejczyk’s name was missing from the latest list of UFC rankings. This is because they have officially removed her from it.
MMA junkie reporter Mike Bohn revealed that UFC has confirmed that Jedrzejczyk has been removed from the rankings. UFC took this decision due to the Pole’s inactivity. Mike Bohn wrote in a tweet, “Joanna Jedrzejczyk’s removal from the UFC rankings is due to inactivity, I’m told.”

Bohn reportedly also mentioned that Jedrzejczyk was removed only because of her inactivity. This case seems very similar to that of Leon Edwards. Earlier, Edwards was removed from the rankings due to inactivity but was put back later, once he had a fight coming up.

While Jedrzejczyk is one of the most interesting fighters to watch, she has not fought since March 2020. Her last fight was against Zhang Weili, which she lost.
