Nurmagomedov was asked whether he will be present as the organizer or if he will corner his teammate for the fight. ‘The Eagle’ said Zavurov will probably be fighting in the co-main event of the card.

So, he expects to corner him. Either way, the Dagestani is confident about being close to the cage.

Most likely I’ll be cornering him. He will be in the co-main event so I’ll probably be in his corner. In any case, I’ll be near the cage,” said Nurmagomedov. The next card of the EFC promotion is set to take place on June 18.

The 36-year-old veteran, Zavurov, competes in both the lightweight and welterweight divisions of the UFC. The ‘Lion Of Dagestan‘ has a professional record of 39-6.

The Dagestani has previously fought in organizations like UAE Warriors, GFC, Road FC, and more. This will be his first fight in his teammate Nurmagomedov’s EFC banner.
