The noted UFC featherweight, Max Holloway put on a superb performance against Arnold Allen at the UFC Kansas City main event. ‘Blessed’ showcased his outstanding strategy in the bout, maintaining his composure and landing calculated strikes. After a five-round slugfest, Holloway earned a unanimous decision victory to hand his opponent the first defeat of his UFC career. Although Holloway called out Jung ‘The Korean Zombie’ Chan-sung after his victory, he recently revealed that he also had other fighters on his list, with whom he would love to slug it out.

On a recent episode of the noted fight podcast, ‘The MMA Hour’, ‘Blessed’ appeared as an online guest and talked about a volley of issues. There were also some significant talks about the fighters who currently were on ‘Blessed’s’ radar. However, to the surprise of many, Holloway also mentioned that he would love to run it down once more with the UFC’s noted ‘Mystic Mac’, Conor McGregor.

Max Holloway said his bout with Conor McGregor would be an enthralling one

Holloway himself brought up the name of ‘Mystic Mac’ after talking about a fourth bout with the UFC Featherweight kingpin, Alexander Volkanovski. This fight had probably been there in his mind for quite a while.

‘Blessed’ stated, “If you’re asking me, like give me a fight, I would love to fight Conor, you know. I mean I was the only guy that took Conor to a decision at 145.” A lot of long-time UFC fans bear testimony to this 2013 bout in the early days of both fighters’ UFC careers.

But Holloway mentioned how things are different now. He said, He’s big right now, but we’ll see that. I know he wants to come back”. However, looking at the record of these two, a lot would agree with Holloway’s next words.

He opined, That’ll be a fight which is super interesting, super fun”. Further, he also stated, “I think it’ll be a fan favorite, I think so a lot of fans will love this fight a lot of fans have been asking for that fight.

In a sport where careers can end in a few seconds, Holloway had probably predicted that the fans would be super enthralled to watch two fighters in a rematch after a decade. Would you agree as well?

A lot of UFC fans know about ‘Blessed’s’ flexibility regarding weights. He also gave out a glimpse of it in his podcast appearance as he stated that the weight at which he would fight Conor was absolutely no issue for him. Holloway revealed, “It’s not even a weight thing bro. I’ll fight him at open weight or whatever the commission would tell us”.

Holloway holds an unblemished record when it comes to weight cutting. The US native has never missed weight in his prolonged 11-year UFC career to date. Hence, Holloway’s chill-out state regarding the weight for his desired Conor McGregor fight was quite understandable.
