

UFC broadcast member Laura Sanko shuts down middleweight fighter Darren Till on social media.

During an interview with Tai Tuivasa ahead of UFC 271, Laura Sanko, along with Daniel Cormier and Michael Chiesa, tried the Australian fighter’s infamous ‘shoey’ ritual. Later, on being asked who did the ritual better, ‘Bam Bam’ choose Sanko as the winner of the challenge. However, the former welterweight title challenger Darren Till accused Sanko and others of using a clean shoe instead of a used one for the ritual.

‘The Gorilla’, who is quite active on social media, took to his official Twitter account. And wrote, “Laura Sanko and whoever else took a drink out that shoey are bullshitting the public.”

However, Till’s words didn’t sit well with the former female fighter. She posted yet another video doing the ‘shoey’ with the heavyweight star. And also claimed to do the ritual out of Till’s shoe in an upcoming UFC event in London this March.

In the tweet, Sanko wrote, “Hey @darrentill2. Tell you what, when I’m in London for UFC in March, You can rip your shoe off and I’ll show you who’s amongst it for real.”
Meanwhile, ‘Bam Bam’, the man who made the ‘shoey’ celebration mainstream in UFC, is scheduled for one of the biggest fights in his professional career this weekend.

‘Bam Bam’ made his UFC debut in 2017. However, after a 3-3 record in the promotion, the Australian fighter became a household name for his back-to-back knockout wins.

Tuivasa is currently on a four-fight undefeated streak and number eleven in the heavyweight division. The fan-favorite will now take on one of the best knockout artists in UFC Derrick Lewis at UFC 271 this weekend.

The heavyweight clash will co-headline the pay-per-view inside the Toyota Center in Lewis’s hometown Houston, Texas. ‘The Black Beast’ after a loss at UFC 265 has bounced back into the win column by defeating former police officer Chris Daukaus in his last fight.
