One of the brightest prospects in the UFC, Terrance McKinney, has taken a shot at Khamzat Chimaev.

McKinney made his debut for the promotion earlier this year spectacularly. He came into the UFC with a 10-3 record, and on a three-fight win streak. ‘T.Wrecks’ made a statement on his debut with a seven-second knockout of Matt Frevola. It was the fastest knockout in the UFC lightweight history.

He was booked to return to action at UFC Fight Night 198 against Fares Ziam. However, the fight fell through after one of McKinney’s cornermen tested positive for COVID-19 on the day of the event. The fight now has been rescheduled and will take place at UFC Fight Night 203. The same card as that of Beneil Dariush vs. Islam Makhachev.

McKinney recently took to Twitter and called out the hottest prospect in all of MMA right now. Khamzat Chimaev might be the most talked-about fighter in the world. His rise to fame has been impressive and up until now, he has run through his opponents. However, McKinney thinks he can beat the Swede in a fight.

In the tweet, he wrote, “I’ve wrestled men bigger than @KChimaev and won, I ain’t worried about him. I respect him but I’ll slam him like I did everyone else.”

Chimaev recently has called out everyone he can think of for a fight. He last entered the octagon at UFC 267, where he defeated Li Jingliang via submission in the first round. Ever since the win, he has been itching to fight again. He fought against fellow UFC fighter Jack Hermansson in a freestyle wrestling match in November, which he won.

Borz‘ isn’t someone to back out of a fight. He made his UFC debut on the back of a six-fight win streak in 2020. After winning his first fight in the second round, he made a quick turnaround and fought again in just 10 days. He’s 4-0 in the UFC right now, winning ‘Performance of the Night’ bonuses for all four fights.

Recently, the Swede has been active on Twitter and has called out many fighters. He called out the likes of Daniel Cormier, Brock Lesnar, Georges St-Pierre, Colby Covington, and the Diaz brothers.

He’s been pushing to fight Nate Diaz ever since his win at UFC 267, but the Stockton native isn’t interested in the fight at all. In a series of tweets, Chimaev took shots at Nate and his brother Nick Diaz.

In his first tweet, he said, You fake gangster @NateDiaz209 and I don’t care who to fight i’m coming for everybody, where are you all the gangsters and kings ? i’m here to kill everyone i’m the king here i’m a gangster here.”

He followed that with a couple of more tweets and one of them even suggested that Nick Diaz ran away scared of him. He said, “say hello to your older brother, tell him not to be afraid of me, I don’t beat old people, he knows what I mean, in Vegas I just wanted to say hello well, poor man ran away @NateDiaz209.”

Nate Diaz responded with a tweet suggesting a matchup between Conor McGregor and Khamzat Chimaev, which got a response from both the Irishman and the Swede.

There seems to be no end to this rivalry. Now, with just one fight left in the contract of Diaz, it will be interesting to see how the UFC books him.
