In an interview with ESPN MMA, Chiesa spoke about his reaction. He said, “I just told her that I loved her. It was, you know, I’m an Italian. So I’m a very emotional guy. I have no problem wearing my heart on my sleeve and I was just so happy for it. Those are just tears of joy. It was just a very special moment.”
