UFC 303, as much as it suffered with multiple card changes, delivered pretty well with another knockout win for Alex Pereira. Moreover, the gate total amounted to an impressive $15.9 million. It’s in the record books. Why? Because it’s the fourth-highest gate collection in the promotion’s history. However, the original headliner of the PPV, Conor McGregor, seemed distraught at missing out on making his return and made his thoughts known on social media.

Conor McGregor was probably watching UFC 303 back home as his recent tweets made it evident. Not only did he react to some of the fights, but he also expressed his sorrow for having to nurse his injury and not be a part of the event. As such, he went on an absolute rant on social media after the UFC wrapped up with the PPV.

“Angry” Conor McGregor lashes out on social media

As Conor McGregor stated years earlier, it’s a celebration for his opponents and his fans when he steps inside the Octagon to fight and put on a show. But in the wake of recent events, the Irishman isn’t in a celebratory mood. While his businesses keep flourishing, McGregor’s UFC return looks more and more uncertain because of the recent pullout, and ‘The Notorious’ isn’t happy about it one bit.

“I’m beyond angry here f***ing raaaaaaaattttttttssssss,” Conor McGregor stated in a deleted tweet. Fans aren’t sure who he was referring to as he added another tweet, which was later deleted, talking about dealing with ‘novice’ fighters. “I am f***ing livid f***ing novice f***ing hums. Here is a tip for dealing with novices just leave them in a coma before they infest their noviceness upon you.”

Conor McGregor further wrote, “Leave novices comatose to save your own mental health or suffer dire.” It sure seems like he’s angry about missing out on the fight against Michael Chandler. However, just like all of his previous tweets, the 35-year-old deleted this one as well.

Meanwhile, even Dana White refused to comment on ‘The Notorious’ status during the press conference when the reporters asked him about it. But given that UFC 303 was a success, let’s take a look at the fighters who made the most profit from the event.

The biggest winners from UFC 303

Well, Alex Pereira will be there when it comes to the biggest winners of UFC 303. After registering another knockout, the Brazilian native earned a bonus for adding a 9th career finish at the T-Mobile Arena. As for Jiri Prochazka, having taken the fight on short notice may have cost him the fight, but financially, reports claim he might have been compensated well for stepping up.

Payton Talbott, Macy Chiasson, and Joe Pyfer also took home $50,000 as a ‘Performance of the Night’ bonus. Moreover, Cub Swanson and Andre Fili also received bonuses for their bout, which Dana White deemed as the ‘Fight of the Night’. All in all, despite the wild events that took place before UFC 303, fans went home pretty happy.
