The UFC’s lightweight division is all set to welcome England’s own Paddy ‘The Baddy’ Pimblett at UFC Fight Night. The 16-3 Cage Warriors champion makes his long-awaited debut against Luigi Vendramini and he’s keen to make waves in the organization. For the longest rime, European fans have been waiting to see if Pimblett can perform at the highest levels in the UFC.

Originally, he was supposed to debut in London, however, things didn’t pan out, and instead the fight takes place in Vegas. When asked about the move to Las Vegas, Pimblett explained how he was excited to be in close proximity to the UFC brass. The ever-charismatic Englishman then went on to describe the way he plans on getting Dana White’s attention.

“Being here [ a UFC fighter in Las Vegas] is great. Can’t wait to go to the PI later, be the first-ever time I’ve been and all the proper UFC officials are here. All the head honchos are here, they all want to see the new cash cow, the new main man.”

Can Paddy Pimblett become the next big UFC star?

Given Pimblett’s career trajectory up to this point, many believe he has the makings of being a top-tier UFC star. Chiefly, Conor McGregor was also a featherweight champion at Cage Warriors before making his way to the UFC.

Paddy ‘The Baddy’ has certain star-studded qualities and if he looks impressive in his debut, he can go a long way. However, stumbling against Luigi Vendramini would be extremely detrimental given the eyeballs on him currently.

The stage is set for Pimblett to go out there and announce his presence to the UFC fanbase that is undoubtedly the largest. He has the fighting style to make everyone turn their heads and he’s promised an early finish of Vendramini in his debut.
