Conor McGregor reveals he was hesitant about his Hollywood move

In a conversation with Total Film, McGregor revealed that the call for ‘Road House’ wasn’t the first offer he had received for a foray into Hollywood. He stated, “I had turned down a good few roles in my time on the climb.” Reflecting on his choices, McGregor admitted he left some people disappointed by showing interest but never committing.

His comments align with the reports from 2016 that had indicated that the Irishman was set to be a part of ‘XXX: The Return of Xander Cage’, but he dropped out of the project after he suffered a stunning upset at the hands of Nate Diaz at UFC 196.

But with the release of ‘Road House’ on the horizon, McGregor has found himself enjoying the process of making movies, despite a lack of experience! He stated, “I was just in awe of it all, to be honest with you, the whole process, I didn’t know how I was going to take to it. I didn’t know whether I was going to like it, to be honest. I’m a fighting man – that’s my bread and butter. It’s where I come from… I’m not an actor, but I’m show business.”
