The Nate Diaz versus Conor McGregor trilogy has been one of the most anticipated fights in UFC history. However, the UFC has been busy even without these two stars competing regularly. With McGregor having his own plans surrounding an imminent octagon return, it looks as though Diaz is becoming impatient regarding the lack of clarity from the matchmakers.

With Conor McGregor not stating anything regarding a trilogy fight against one of his biggest UFC rivals, Diaz took to Twitter and dropped a message. His latest tweet changed the tide for a choice in his fight plans. UFC fans thought it would be a smooth matchup for two of the most entertaining fighters reaching their twilight. However, it appears things are going to get a lot rougher before they get better.

Diaz’s patience with the UFC is running slow, as they don’t seem to be paying attention to who he could be facing in the octagon. However, fans should also note that Diaz has been reluctant when it comes to certain fights for his reasons. The McGregor fight, for instance, and the Dustin Poirier fight.

However, given his current state of fighting and how much more the competition has gotten better, there’s a low chance that Nate Diaz would actually win against the top-ranked welterweights. To put things into perspective, the Leon Edwards fight was tilting towards ‘Rocky’ till the Brit got rocked by a hard jab that left him shaken.

Diaz, however, did not capitalize on that opportunity to knock him out and settled for a decision loss. Opponents like Gilbert Burns, Khamzat Chimaev, Colby Covington, and Kamaru Usman might just be too much for the Stockton king.
