Georges St-Pierre, the former two-division champion of UFC, shared his thoughts on the infamous Oscars incident between Hollywood actor Will Smith and comedian Chris Rock.

Minutes before winning the best actor award for his movie ‘King Richard,’ Smith walked on stage and hit Chris Rock in the face for the latter’s comments on his wife. The incident shocked everyone, and it became global news.
The world reacted to it on the internet and so did the UFC stars. One of them was the former welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre. ‘Rush’ recently appeared in an episode of The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani, where he talked about his upcoming projects and other various topics.

While sharing his thoughts on the Smith-Rock fiasco, GSP said, “Well, I think it was a very fast slap that he throw. But I think that Chris has a hell of a chin. I think I am more impressed by Chris Rock’s performance than Will Smith’s.”
Not only that, but the former UFC double champion also had a brilliant idea for UFC president Dana White, which can make him tons of money. GSP added, “And I wrote to Dana on the Instagram. I said Dana you should make a special UFC card with celebrities. I guarantee that you would make a ton of money with this.”

Georges St-Pierre hints at a comeback fight
‘Rush’ is regarded as the greatest fighters to have graced the UFC octagon by many UFC fans and pundits. He hails a professional fighting record of 26-2 under his name. Moreover, GSP is the former two-division champion of UFC and has defeated some of the most notable names during his career.

Many still believe he is the greatest welterweight of all time. However, ‘Rush’ after defeating Michael Bisping at UFC 217 retired from professional fighting in 2017.
Ever since then, there has been a lot of speculations about his return. The most famous one was a blockbuster fight with the undefeated Russian fighter, Khabib Nurmagomedov. However, it never happened.

But now, GSP has hinted at a potential comeback. In the same interview with Helwani, he said, “My serious days of fighting are over. Maybe you’ll see me for something different, like, I don’t know.”
