In a recent YouTube exposition, Chael Sonnen expressed his opinions regarding Joe Rogan’s endeavors to inaugurate the realm of kickboxing within the United States. Throughout his discourse, he believed that Rogan harbors the foresight that is required to make this a reality.

The 46-year-old former UFC fighter in a recent escapade indulged in a discussion about Joe Rogan in his recent YouTube video. While having the conversation, he delved deeper into Rogan’s effort and his vision of making kickboxing famous in the land of the free. Sonnen added that Rogan is trying his level best to bring kickboxing here and has already pitched the idea to Dana White. The three-time UFC title challenger added, “Joe was making a push, and I don’t know how hard he’s gonna push. This might be a one-week thing, but this is the week, and he is making a push for somebody to get behind kickboxing. Joe believes that kickboxing could be the next big thing, and it’s an interesting concept because Joe took this idea to Dana.”

He further added, “He went to Dana, and Dana said, ‘I’m not interested. I’m not interested. I don’t think that kickboxing is going to catch on, particularly with North America, the way that it has in other parts of the world.’ And that was where that conversation ended.”

Down in the conversation, Sonnen emphasized that Rogan doesn’t need anybody to start the promotion himself since he already possesses money, power, and distribution channels. He stated that Rogan even volunteered to be the commentator of the event. He added “Joe tried to pitch in. He tried to volunteer. He said, ‘Well, if you do it, if somebody does it, I’ll commentate it.’ That’s wildly helpful. If you could get Joe Rogan to commentate your event, you are going to have success for whatever that event is.”
