The Swedish prodigy has surpassed all the expectations and appears to be on the cusp of being one of the biggest superstars in the UFC. That said, he might already be a massive superstar with his astonishing social media following and rising craze.

However, he has a big hurdle in his way, as former welterweight title challenger and #2 Gilbert Burns will look to derail the hype train of ‘Borz‘.

With Sean Strickland being a top-five middleweight, training with ‘Borz’ who is ranked #11 in a lower weight class, i.e., welterweight, ideally, the training session should go easy for ‘Tarzan’. However, the 31-year-old fighter detailed the ground reality after the interviewer, Schmo, revealed Strickland tapping multiple times to ‘Borz’.

He said, “Listen, guys Jiujitsu. I do the f**king man game, the fu*king man dance. I’m not trying to f**king take you down and put my c**k in your face or give you an aggressive hug. I’m trying to do the f**king man dance.”

Although, he changed his tone and said about his upcoming opponent, “If Pereira hits me, I might take him down and f**king dry hump him for f**king 15 minutes. That’s right, that’s right.”

The UFC has matched Israel Adesanya conqueror, Alex Pereira, against Strickland at the July 30th event. Both the fighters are undefeated in the middleweight division inside the UFC Octagon.

Anyhow, another undefeated fighter that Strickland had a hard time training with has a bunch of training room stories and is believed as a serious threat to Kamaru Usman‘s welterweight championship.
Khamzat Chimaev is a monster in the gym
Chimaev has fought only four times inside the Octagon. However, instead of his spectacular performance, his training with the light heavyweight and heavyweight fighters is much more talked about.

‘Borz’s teammates, Alexander Gustafsson and Ilir Latifi, have praised the young fighter for his relentless training.

Thus, it would be interesting to see what ‘The Wolf’ does with all the surrounding hype. Could he capture the moment against Gilbert Burns and put on a similar performance as he has done with relatively lower opposition? Only time will tell.
