The US House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s visit to Taiwan recently has agitated the Chinese government. Subsequently, China has started military drills across Taiwan. The UFC color commentator Joe Rogan gave his thoughts on the same.

In the recent episode of ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’ podcast, the host began his conversation with the China-Taiwan topic alongside guest Sam Tripoli, a fellow stand-up comedian.

Because of the rising tension with China, Rogan asked Tripoli, “Are we ready to go to war with China?” In the previous episode, Rogan talked about the warnings from China’s People’s Liberation Army (PLA). In spite of that, Pelosi visited Taiwan. Hence, the situation has worsened ever since. 

While talking about the critical situation between China and Taiwan, Rogan said, “Nancy Pelosi is in China. They are rolling tanks around. Have you seen it…”

“Look at this in a ban tweet a top state media commentator, reportedly said that China could forcibly dispel Pelosi’s plane and shoot it down if it flies to Taiwan… Could you f**king imagine if they blow her out of the sky… Imagine if they f**king execute her,” Rogan added.

Further Rogan also discussed a similar situation that the world is witnessing between Russia and Ukraine. All of these happenings made Rogan believe that World War 3 is near and no one has a plan to prevent it.

Joe Rogan fears a global Thermo-nuclear war

The critical situations between the countries like Russia and Ukraine have had the UFC color commentator Rogan concerned about nuclear war. In one episode of his podcast, Rogan stated we are living in a world of conflicts and have minimal control over them. Hence, it can become a major anxiety reason for people.

“That it one of the biggest f***ing sources of anxiety for people, the idea that we’re living in this conflict that we have zero control over that might lead to a global thermo-nuclear war,” Rogan said.

However, further on Rogan also admitted that nuclear war wasn’t a possibility until the Russia-Ukraine conflict. But now, as other countries are getting involved, some wrong people might trigger the wrong buttons, which could lead to a WW3 situation, according to the UFC commentator.
