“In My Country You Don’t Get a Next Time” – UFC Star & Twitter Reacts as Thief Gets a ‘Whipping’

Twitter is well known for having some of the most outrageous pages that share even more outrageous videos and news on it. While fights and street scraps are hugely popular, recently a video shared by Daily Loud showed how the Twitter world can make almost anything viral. In the clip shared by the hip-hop news outlet, an individual, which the caption claimed to be a thief, got whipped by a belt as a group of men held him. Interestingly, UFC middleweight Derek Brunson was among the people who found the video hilarious and tweeted about it.
While the fighter found it quite funny, many in the tweets felt the thrashing was not necessary. Some claimed that calling the police would have been a better idea, while another group felt that the crowd was right in teaching the culprit a lesson. The viral clip showed an alleged thief being whipped with a belt by one individual while another three held him.

As the culprit tried to save himself, the group kept pushing him towards the car he was being held against while one individual kept telling him to “turn the f*** around”.

Brunson‘s tweet got the ball rolling as he claimed the thief would end up thinking twice before stealing again.

Now divided opinions in this clip were quite expected. But for UFC and MMA fans, finding out Derek Brunson has reacted to it was quite funny in itself.

The 39-year-old was last seen inside the Octagon almost a year ago against Jared Cannonier which the American lost in the second round as he got relentlessly attacked by Cannonier‘s elbows. Currently, the 39-year-old’s next fight is set up against Dricus du Plessis when they face head-on at UFC 285. The duo will be headlining the Prelims before the main card sets off.
