It is now common knowledge that weeks before his fight against Stipe Miocic at UFC 295, Jon Jones tore his pectoral muscle off of the bone. This injury put him out of action for a considerable amount of time. Even when Tom Aspinall called him out, Jones mentioned that his injury would not allow him to fight anytime soon. Nevertheless, things might have changed for ‘Bones’ as per a recent viral video.

Jon Jones showcases his rugby tackle skills

A video shared by Jon Jones’ agent, Malki Kawa, has caught the attention of many fans on social media. The injured UFC champion recently met up with the rugby players from the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs team. They seemed to have had a lot of fun as the whole team greeted the heavyweight champion when he arrived there.

Furthermore, the rugby players wanted to see how physical Jon Jones could get. He proceeded to show how he does a rugby tackle, which when he did, he effectively took down one of the players. Following that tackle, the whole team celebrated Jones’ tackle, but the fans were suspicious of the UFC champion. Let’s see what they had to say on social media.

Fans are doubtful of Jones’ injury status

Having broken his pectoral muscle and getting surgery recently, Jon Jones could have made a wiser decision by not participating in such a physical activity. As such, some fans wanted to know if he had recovered from his injury after witnessing the video clip.
