The fighters often get themselves embroiled in random controversies which might end their career or keep them away from the octagon for long and seems like Jamahal Hill now finds himself in one such scenario.

Jamahal Hill was already away from the octagon due to his Achilles injury and his comeback was uncertain. Now, his recent altercations with his brother have cast an even darker shadow over his return to the octagon.

Jamahal Hill was arrested!

On Tuesday, a police report from the Kentwood Police Department in Michigan revealed that Hill’s brother reported an assault on November 25. Police spoke with Hill’s brother at a nearby emergency room, where they gathered information about the alleged attack. As per police records, there was an argument that turned violent between the brothers.

The reported conflict originated from a disagreement regarding the payment of $300 to Hill’s sister-in-law for cleaning his empty house. Subsequently, the dispute shifted to more personal matters, with Hill’s brother addressing his failure to message his daughter on Thanksgiving and expressing concerns about his attitude towards women.

What followed was a shirtless Jamahal Hill charging towards his brother. Hill sucker punched his brother twice in the face which knocked him down and he went on to throw some punches even after that. Hill’s brother claimed that he didn’t want to confront the police and ruin his brother’s career but was forced due to safety reasons.

Combat fans have been left baffled by the incident as Hill has maintained a very good reputation inside as well as outside the octagon.

Fans react to Hill punching his brother

As soon as the news caught traction, fans rushed to the internet to express their opinion. People were critical of the UFC superstar. “MMA and all I ain’t letting my brother punk me like that.. we scrappin, scrappin.” Meanwhile many questioned Hill being a role model, “Smh what a role model.” Some other fans joked that his brother be signed for a rematch at UFC 300– “Sign his brother rematch at ufc 300.”

Many other believed that Hill’s brother should not have indulged in trash talk, “Lil bro should’ve kept his mouth shut”. Of course, there were those who believed the cops had nothing to do with it since it was a family matter-Family business leave it alone”. Others were of the opinion that Dana White should let him go– “Ufc have to fire him”.

It can be understood from the reactions that fans are not amused by Hill’s actions.
