Nate Diaz has more trouble coming his way

The incident happened back in April last year when there was a heated rivalry going on between Jake Paul and Nate Diaz. The Stockton native was in a street when he witnessed someone mocking him and he was resembling Logan Paul. Diaz threw himself at the man and threw some punches at him. Later, Rodney Petersen filed a lawsuit against Diaz for damages.

However, fortunately for Nate Diaz, the Orleans Parish District Attorney’s office dropped the charges against him in September citing that he must have acted in self-defense. Interestingly, it was Diaz’s attorney team who stated that Diaz was defending himself from the face of the adversary. Peterson is now pursuing a civil suit against Diaz, seeking compensation for both physical and emotional damages. It must be noted that he was charged with second degree but the courts pardoned him

The lawsuit filed by Peterson stated that he “Fell and struck his head on the concrete causing injuries which required emergency medical intervention” and that Diaz, along with two unidentified individuals noted as John Doe #1 and John Doe #2, left the scene “in a monument of cowardice.” The amateur fighter through the help of his attorney Bradley Egenberg claims that he has suffered multiple injuries on his head, neck, and brain and Diaz is liable to take responsibility for that.

The amount that Peterson is demanding is yet to be revealed, however, the battle is still on for courthouse supremacy and nothing can be made certain as of yet. Additionally, Diaz seems to be frustrated about his upcoming match against Masvidal.

The Diaz vs. Masvidal clash is set to happen in June and the promotion for the event is in a swing, however, the promotional events might be a bit rough for the Stockton Native as he and his brother, Nick Diaz were never supporters of promotion. It is an inevitable fact that they love fighting but promotion the fight is not their cup of tea.

While having an interview alongside Jorge Masvidal, Diaz let his frustration out and scolded the former BMF champ. “It was a fun tour, going out here and all this sh*t, all over f**king USA, and, uh, I’m done with all this sh*t. I’m cool off all this f**king talking sh*t. I got a whole team to represent. I don’t wanna do none of this. I never did wanna do any of this. F**k this n**ga, and f**k his team, bro. I’m out. I gotta go. Square off with yourself, motherf**ker.” said Nate Diaz in his latest take.
