Former American Top Team teammates will settle their business inside the octagon in the headliner of UFC 272. Colby Covington and Jorge Masvidal will stand across from each other in a highly touted bout. With the fight coming closer and closer, everybody has their prediction hats on. One cush person includes a fellow countryman of Conor McGregor, Ian Garry.
Ian Garry recently had an interview with The Schmo. In that interview, ‘The Future’ shared his prediction for Colby Covington vs. Jorge Masvidal.

Garry said, “I think Colby does. I think he’s, he’s brilliant. I think, obviously, he’s the second-best guy in the division other than Usman, and he’s brought it to Usman twice. So, I think Colby is going to take that and show why he is the number, the number two guy.”
Certainly, the former interim welterweight champion gave the champion a run for his money in the second fight. As a result, some fans believe Covington did enough to win the last three rounds. However, the three people who mattered the most chose Kamaru Usman as the triumphant.

Though Garry won his first fight via knockout, his opponent, Jordan Williams, did good and tagged him on several occasions. Despite a hard fight, Garry went on to the microphone and cut a promo like ‘The Notorious’.
The Irish fans love their fighters and show them immense support. Also, the UFC sees the potential of the Irishman and is promoting him to be the next big thing. The UFC promoted his debut with the ‘Meet Ian “The Future”’ Garry clip on their official YouTube channel. They also did a behind-the-scenes piece showing the debut of the Irishman.
