Irish Sensation Dean Barry Signs a New Contract With the UFC

Irish fighters are some of the most charismatic stars in the sport of MMA. Conor McGregor has raised the bar high for all the Irish fighters. It’s safe to say that the upcoming star Ian Garry is living up to his expectations as an Irishman in the UFC. Now another Irishman, Dean Barry, will join the Irish force on the UFC roster. 

Dean Barry is a 29-year-old MMA fighter from Dublin, Ireland. The fighter has fought in promotions like Titan FC, UAE warriors, and Shamrock FC.

The fighter announced the good news via his Facebook account and his Instagram account.

He wrote,” I am so happy to announce I have just signed a multi-fight deal with the biggest organization in the world the @ufc . This has been a long road back and I am so proud to be here. Thank you to everyone involved behind the scenes for making this happen. I am now one of three Irish fighters on the roster. I love you all and I cannot wait to represent my country in the UFC. WE DID IT!!!! I have the best manager in the world 😁.”

Dean Barry: professional record

The fighter holds a professional fight record of 4 wins and 1 loss in his professional MMA career. His last bout was at Titan FC 73. He took on the American fighter, Drew Lipton, and won the fight following a first-round knock-out.

The fighter has won all 4 of his fights via a knockout finish and is quite an entertaining performer to watch. Dean ‘The Sniper’ Barry is also a multiple-time world kickboxing champion.
