The coveted fight between the tech billionaires Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk is gaining prominence with the passing of every moment now. Most UFC fans know that the noted color commentator of the promotion, Joe Rogan, also hosts his own podcast named ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’. ‘JRE’ may boast having the most influential guests of today’s era on their sets, which also include the ‘SpaceX CEO’. It was during his second appearance in ‘JRE’ (episode #1470) when Musk himself revealed that he had trained in martial arts in his years of adolescence.

Apart from the revelation, the Twitter head honcho also detailed the different forms of martial arts he had trained in. Talking to the ‘JRE’ host Rogan, Musk disclosed that he had trained in judo, kyokushin karate, and taekwondo while he was a kid.

In the same ‘JRE’ appearance, Musk also revealed that he has been sending his kids for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training since they were just six years of age. Hence, it may be said that Musk had an affinity towards combat sports since his childhood and has passed it on to his own kids as well.

Reports suggest that Musk had trained briefly in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu as well after he discontinued his childhood training. The ’51-year-old’ also revealed the same in his second ‘JRE’ appearance while talking to Rogan.

After disclosing all other martial arts disciplines that he had trained in, Musk stated, “and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu”. This declaration had Rogan in a bit of shock as he questioned Musk, “Where did you[take your BJJ training from]?”. The Twitter CEO replied, “in Palo Alto”.

The ones underestimating Musk’s martial arts skills due to their own ignorance might receive a significant shock after knowing all of this.

The UFC head honcho, Dana White, got right into his promoter mode after this fight between the billionaires was proposed. It’s not like I haven’t fought before.”

Although Musk had his martial arts training in his childhood years and only a short span of BJJ training after that, he probably has supreme confidence in his combat skills. Musk also put out a tweet challenging the Russian President for the same on 14 May 2022.

But the proposed bout between these two never materialized due to a lack of reply from the Russian Head-Of-State.
