Nora Cornolle was born and brought up in the La Source-Les Presles quarter of Épinay-sur-Seine. Her profound love for her hometown has prevented her from leaving it. And, as of 2025, she still lives there. The French fighter did her baccalaureate and then continued her prep classes for human sciences and languages at the Auguste-Blanqui high school. Her fascination with martial arts was a coincidence. The French-Thai fighter was in Thailand for an internship after completing her master’s degree in communication from CELSA Sorbonne University. During that trip, Cornolle became captivated by MMA. However, many might not know that she was attracted to combat sports since her youth, but she was held back by her family. During her stay in Thailand, Cornolle trained at Puteaux Scorp Thaï club.

After her Thai endeavor, Cornolle didn’t hold back and dedicated herself to proper training under the guidance of her coaches. She went on to become a five-time French champion, including two professional titles, as well as the European champion and a silver medalist at the 2022 World Games. A year after that, the French fighter made her UFC debut on the grand stage, fighting before an attendance of 15000.

According to the fighter, it was a dream come true for her: “I’ve had dozens of fights in my career, but I’ve never experienced such an atmosphere. It’s hard in such a context not to be overcome by emotion. But paradoxically, the stress I had accumulated throughout my preparation completely dissipated as soon as I left the locker room. I didn’t feel suffocated like I usually do. I took the time to observe the room, which only sent me good vibes. I knew at that moment that I was going to do something good.”

As she prepares for her fourth UFC battle, will she get back to the winning column after her defeat against Jacqueline Cavalcanti? State your thoughts in the comments below.
