Colby Covington is arguably one of the most infamous fighters in the UFC right now. His brash talking and unfiltered attitude have made him very popular among the fans. He certainly lives up to his moniker, ‘Chaos’.

Covington is also a former UFC interim welterweight champion. As of March 5th, 2022, Covington stands first in the UFC’s welterweight rankings. The fighter is coming off a recent loss after he challenged Kamaru Usman for the title at UFC 268.

Even though he is hated by many fans, Covington remains to be one of the biggest entertainers in the promotion. In an interview, the fighter had with renowned reporter Helen Yee, ‘Chaos’, was looked absolutely clueless when he heard the names of Michael Chandler and Charles Oliveira.

“Who’s that I never heard of them. They fight?…I don’t know I’ve never heard of those guys before,” said Covington when Helen Yee spoke about Oliveira and Chandler.

Yee went on to explain,” Well, Michael Chandler was from Bellator just made his UFC debut beat Dan Hooker. Charles Oliveira just beat Tony Ferguson.”

Colby joked, “I heard about that Hooker before. Is she still a hooker?”

UFC 272 Prediction: Colby Covington vs. Jorge Masvidal

UFC 272 goes down this Saturday night in the iconic T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The event is highly anticipated due to the rivalry between Covington and Masvidal.

Colby Covington will make his return to the octagon this weekend and will take on his biggest rival, Jorge ‘Gamebred’ Masvidal. Masvidal and Covington were once best friends and roommates, however, now they hold one of the biggest grudges in the promotion.

Emotions will certainly play a big role in this massive grudge fight and both men will look to really hurt each other. Masvidal is definitely the more creative striker. However, Covington’s chin is one of the best and his wrestling ability is far superior to Masvidal’s.
