Charles Oliveira has emerged as a true champ, coming a long way from his seven-year-old self. He was diagnosed with a heart murmur and rheumatic fever, making it seem unlikely that he would ever be able to play any sport, for that matter. However, with grit and determination, Oliviera took over and earned his first title in the Sao Paulo BJJ at only 14, merely months after joining the sport.

This trend of Oliveira proving the critics wrong has since continued throughout his UFC career. He became the unlikely lightweight champion after Khabib Nurmagomedov‘s retirement. Until he lost his title to Islam Makhachev in a largely one-sided contest. But, in a recent video making rounds on the internet, an unorthodox move during practice has caught the attention of the fans. Now, they are pleading with him to pull it out in the rematch against the Dagestani at UFC 294 this month.

Charles Oliveira is surely looking for redemption, and in a video that has now gone viral, the fans are thrilled at his display of his brute strength. Oliveira can be seen casually hoisting his training partner and tossing him out of the cage with ease. This kind of training is what undoubtedly helped him become a champion even in the face of adversity. And we are eagerly waiting to see this energy inside the Octagon!
