Actor Chris Pratt is a well-known name in the UFC business. After all, he is a UFC fan and has attended events. The actor was also present at UFC 276. Like many fans, the Thor: Love and Thunder star was a little unhappy with how the Israel Adesanya versus Jared Cannonier fight went.

Hence, Pratt gave some criticism post the fight. As reported by ‘Middleeasy‘, Pratt said, “Look, I’m going to say this as humbly as I can as a guy who has never stepped into the Octagon. I don’t know this game, I’m just an actor, man. But, I’m not a fan of coming out with all that talk and then putting on a little bit of pitter patter. I’m like ‘Come on, man! Cash on that!'”
“You gotta cash that promise of being so bad as*. And I dunno. If I bet with my money, I would have bet Adesanya’d do something like that. But I was hoping to see Cannonier make it.”

The middleweight champion took to Twitter to hit back at the actor. He shared a small clip with the caption, “Good morning. I’m the man. You’re just some fan.”

Chris Pratt wrote back and apologized to ‘Izzy’. He tweeted, “You’re right. I’m sorry brutha. It bugs me when people criticize my work- having never themselves risked anything. It makes me a hypocrite to do exactly that to you. My bad. Keep on keeping on champ.”
Israel Adesanya: What’s next for him?
With a victory at UFC 276, ‘The Last Stylebender’ defended his title yet again. However, middleweights Alex Pereira and Sean Strickland also fought that evening. Pereira successfully finished Strickland in the first round.
His win makes things exciting because he had also defeated Adesanya twice at ‘Glory Kickboxing’. Hence, many feel he has what it takes to dethrone Adesanya.

The Brazilian now ranks at number six in the division. Hence, he could be the next opponent for the champion.
If Adesanya versus Pereira does happen, it would be an exciting fight to witness. Both the fighters are not only dominant but also have just one professional MMA loss. Further, they have been opponents before.
