Israel Adesanya is one of the few UFC fighters who has consistently delivered outstanding performances in the octagon. Fans adore him for his deft fighting abilities and entertaining personality.

‘The Last Stylebender’ has a massive internet presence. Millions of people follow him from all over the world. Adesanya recently shared his thoughts on the recent boxing match between George Kambosos and Devin Haney on Twitter.

Adesanya praised the fight they both put up. However, he slammed the post-fight shenanigans that took place while the winner was being announced. Israel wrote, “After a fight, the laaast thing I need is 75 mothaf***az in the ring all up in my bubble tryna put cameras in my face and take selfies lol. Regardless, that was a good fight, beautiful skills displayed.”

On Saturday night, Devin Haney fought Australian boxer George Kambosos Jr. for the undisputed lightweight championship. A unanimous decision by the judges declared Haney as the winner. Adesanya praised the fighters for their performance in his recent tweet.

Meanwhile, Adesanya will return to defend his title against Jared Cannonier on July 3rd. He has vowed to make it look easy this time.

It is not surprising to see Adesanya taking an interest in the sport of boxing. He is one of the promotion’s most fluid strikers, and he grew up watching boxing matches. As a child, he looked up to the legendary boxer Mike Tyson and idolized him.

The reigning UFC middleweight champion, Israel Adesanya, recently appeared on ‘Hotboxin‘ with Mike Tyson’, a podcast show hosted by legendary boxer Mike Tyson. On the show, he discussed a wide range of topics, from fighting to everyday life.

Adesanya made a reference to the late rapper Tupac Shakur on the show, saying that being a role model is a sham. He said, “Tupac said something about being a role model. That’s the fakest two things in the world. Because you’re playing a role and you’re modeling your behavior… I’m not someone’s role model.”

Tyson interrupted him in the middle and said, “Yes, you are.” He explained to Adesanya that he has no say in the matter. Tyson stated, “you have no control over that. Your accomplishments, your skills, made you a role model automatically.”
