The Main event of UFC 300 event ended with the UFC light heavyweight champion, Alex Pereira successfully defending his title against Jamahal Hill. However, what shocked the fight fans more was the Brazilian ending the infamous”Drake Curse”. The iconic pop star bet $675,000 on Pereira to win and it certainly seems to have benefited the musician, unlike most times.

Pereira’s win certainly made quite a lot of people happy with the results. However, there was one person in attendance who didn’t seem pleased with how the fight turned out. The former UFC middleweight champion, Israel Adesanya, was in attendance for the UFC 300 event and also in the comment section of Drake’s post.

Adesanya took to Instagram to comment on the post of Drake placing a bet on Alex Pereira, where he wrote, “No Chama”. The word “Chamo” is used to refer to someone informally and means “boy or young man” while the usage here (Chama) denotes “girl or young woman”. The comment was made right before the Brazilian secured a vicious KO win.
